Chemical Express is a member of ALIS, the Logistics Association of Sustainable Intermodality, a trade association with more than 1,400 operators in the transport sector. Some of the main objectives of the ALIS are the internationalization of the transport companies, the territorial continuity with the big islands, the relaunch of the Southern Italy territory, and the environmental sustainability.
For some years now Chemical Express has been a member of the ECTA, the association that brings together European transport companies specializing in the chemical sector. The association's roles include harmonizing the national laws of the EU member countries, establishing guidelines together with the association of CEFIC chemical producers regarding safety standards and being a valid interlocutor for dialogue with the various operators of the sector.
Chemical Express is member of EPCA, the association of European petrochemicals. EPCA boasts among its members the most important chemical producers in the world, alongside various operators including chemical transport companies. Every year, in a different location, it is hosted for several days a meeting that boasts the intervention of over 2700 delegates, gathered to discuss new strategies for the sustainable development of the world petrochemical industry. Chemical Express is a frequent visitor to these meetings, in which the foundations are laid to establish new business relationships, which in some cases have become real partnerships with new customers.
Another association Chemical Express has enthusiastically joined, fully embracing the project to promote the sustainable development of the chemical industry, with a strong orientation to the issues of safety, health and the environment, within a more general plan of Corporate Social Responsibility. As part of this association, Chemical Express has increased its vocation of companies specializing in intermodal transport, finding further incentives to favor this mode of transport that allows it to be able to reduce CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, while ensuring its own availability in the continuous communication process on Health safety and environment issues inside and outside the company, sharing the best corporate practices, defining and using indicators to improve performance etc.
